OpenShorts

Open-source clipper that turns long videos into 9:16 shorts with face tracking and subtitles. Self-host free with Docker or use the cloud; its MCP server works in Claude, ChatGPT, and Cursor.

Editor's rating 3.8/5 A capable open-source alternative to paid clipping tools, but it is a young single-maintainer project with a Docker setup.
