One Library for Every AI You Use

One Source of Truth for Your AI Skills.

Keep your skills, prompts, and instructions in one YourAIKit library. Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Grok Bot, or another MCP app to it. Update a skill once, and every connected app loads the new version.

Setup differs by app and plan. See the setup guide.

How It Works

Set It Up Once

  1. Connect Your AI

Add youraikit.com/mcp to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or another MCP app, and sign in with OAuth. For Grok Bot, published guides describe adding it from a chat.

    Open the Setup Guide
  2. Add Skills

Save free skills and prompts from the marketplace, or write your own or import one from a .md or .txt file.

  3. Group Them Into Kits

Put items into kits, give each kit its own instructions, and pick which kits each connection can see.

    Set Up Kits
  4. Use Them Everywhere

Your AI searches your library and loads a skill when the task calls for it. Edit it once here, and every connected AI gets the new version the next time it loads it.

What You Get

Everything Your AI Needs From You

Available in every free account.

  • Connect Any MCP App

One server URL, youraikit.com/mcp, over Streamable HTTP, for apps that connect to remote MCP servers. Sign in with OAuth, or use a personal token where an app supports one. Apps that only run local servers need a bridge.

  • Instructions That Travel

Write usage notes on each item and instructions for each kit. YourAIKit sends them as MCP server instructions when your AI connects, so it knows when to reach for a skill. Each app decides how closely to follow them.

  • Kits, Scoped per Connection

Group items into kits. For each connected app, choose all enabled items or only the kits you pick, and change it any time.

  • Add From the Marketplace

Save a free skill or prompt from the marketplace. It joins your kit items with its author credit and license.

  • Bring Your Own Skills

Write or paste a prompt or a SKILL.md, or import one from a .md or .txt file, and attach up to 10 files to an item. New items are private.

  • See What Gets Used

The Usage tab shows which items each AI loaded, when each was last used, and how often search turned it up.

  • Edit Once, Every Tool Updates

Your AI loads a skill from your library each time it needs it, so it reads your latest version. Kit and item instructions refresh when your app starts a new session or reconnects. Copies you pasted or uploaded into a chat or a project don't update.

Questions

Before You Connect

Setup steps for each app are in the setup guide.

What is MCP?

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that lets an AI app connect to outside tools and data. YourAIKit runs an MCP server at youraikit.com/mcp. When your AI connects to it, your AI can search your library and load your skills.

Which AI tools work with YourAIKit?

Claude: as a custom connector (Free plans can add one custom connector) and in Claude Code. ChatGPT: as a custom MCP server in ChatGPT on the web, not the mobile apps. OpenAI's help center lists custom MCP servers for ChatGPT Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu, and no other plans. On Business, only admins and owners can add and publish custom MCP servers; members use published apps. On Enterprise and Edu, admins and owners, plus members an admin authorizes by role. On ChatGPT Pro, read and fetch tools only, so YourAIKit's write tools won't run there. Cursor: in mcp.json. Grok Bot: adding a custom MCP server isn't in xAI's official guide yet; published guides describe asking your Bot to add it, and xAI lists Grok Bot on The X Subscription Premium, Super, and Ultra, not Plus or Free. Other apps that connect to remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP work too. The setup guide has the steps and plan notes for each. If an app can't connect, copy a skill from your library into the chat or into a ChatGPT Project's instructions; a pasted or uploaded copy doesn't update when you edit the skill.

Are my skills private?

Yes. New items are private, and nothing is shared until you share it with a link, with specific people, or on a public page. Each connected AI sees only what that connection is allowed to see, and you can disconnect an app any time.

Can I use my own skills?

Yes. Write or paste a prompt or a SKILL.md, or import one from a .md or .txt file, attach files, and put your own items in kits next to the ones you saved from the marketplace.

What does it cost?

A YourAIKit account, your personal library (the skills and prompts you save or write), and connecting your AI are free. A free library holds up to 50 MB and 2,000 items. 386 of the 525 marketplace items are free at their source, and the rest follow their publisher's terms. YourAIKit's paid packs, the all-access bundle, and YourAIKit Pro (a subscription to every pack, not to your library) are listed on the pricing page, but checkout is not open yet.
